Seven years in the making. In 2019, Leehom Wang witnessed the debut of Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium (the Big Lotus). Seven years later, he returned to this iconic venue with full sincerity for The Best Place II tour.

No matter where we are, wherever we gather is the best place.As the first stop of the new tour, three consecutive shows were held here from May 29 to 31. The concert adopted an industry-first four-sided surround stage, paired with a 380-meter ultra-long in-field circular track, a full 360° extended stage and a 30-meter retractable cross bridge, marking an all-round upgrade of stage structural design. This homecoming reunion represents not only a return to a familiar venue, but also a leap forward in mature stage production.

The show delivered stunning bespoke stage spectacles alongside over 30 classic songs spanning Leehom Wang’s 30-year music career. The iconic track A Bridge of Fate opened with a suspended cable car performance above the audience. During Dragon Scales Beneath Heaven and Earth, high-pressure water cannons sprayed across the stadium, letting tens of thousands of fans sing along amid mist. Unitree G1 humanoid robots also returned to the stage to dance alongside Leehom Wang in Descendants of the Dragon. Fluid lighting and sound design fully showcased his status as a leading icon of Chinese pop music.

A legend returns, with tailored lighting to match. Hundreds of light beams pierced the night sky and intertwined, immersing the entire audience in a dreamlike space blended with light and live vocals. More than 300 CKC-Proxima Hybrid fixtures formed the core visual framework for the outdoor shows, delivering stable and outstanding lighting performance amid changing outdoor weather conditions.

Equipped with a 500W high-power laser module, each Proxima Hybrid outputs sharp 0.9° ultra-narrow beams at 23,000 lumens. These penetrating light blades crisscrossed the night sky with superior visual reach. Built with a seamless CMY color mixing system, the fixture supports flexible switching between sharp beam effects and soft saturated color washing. It built a powerful, grand stage atmosphere exclusive to Leehom Wang’s comeback performance.

After three decades of musical journey and countless fans’ anticipation, the long-awaited reunion finally arrived. Wherever we meet, that is the best place.
