At the beginning of the year, the “Encounter Huangzhou · From Here, Dongpo” immersive night tour project held a grand New Year’s Eve celebration at Yiai Lake in Huangzhou, Hubei. With the lake’s reflections and the shadows of bamboo serving as a backdrop, and light as a brush dipped in the ink of a thousand years of poetry and literature, the event accompanied the tolling of the New Year’s bells on a journey through time, inviting all to join in a poetic rendezvous with Dongpo.

This is not merely a nighttime tour, but a grand experiment that uses cutting-edge technology to breathe new life into a millennia-old culture. It feels as though Su Dongpo has just put down his brush, and that distant era seems within reach.

As these grand scenes gradually come to life, light breathes true life into them. With light and shadow as its rhythm and color as its cadence, the interplay of light and shadow invites visitors to engage in a dialogue with Su Shi that transcends time and space, giving abstract culture a tangible warmth and form.

One hundred CKC-Proxima IP units (260W Laser Beam) cut through the air in swirling patterns, using light to paint the scene, capturing every breathtaking moment between the lake and the sky, and becoming the most vivid highlight of the entire Dongpo Nightscape.

On Yiai Lake, the Proxima IP truly shines. With a 260W laser light source paired with an extra-large 230mm beam exit aperture, it produces a robust, full-bodied, ultra-narrow 0.8° beam. At a distance of 20 meters, the illuminance reaches an impressive 462,000 lux, offering exceptional penetration—the beam remains full and clear even from several kilometers away.

Equipped with a uniform CMY color-mixing system, the Proxima IP, combined with prisms and a six-color wheel, creates a rich tapestry of light and shadow, becoming the most dazzling highlight of the “Encounter Huangzhou · From Here, Dongpo” night tour. Meanwhile, its IP65 protection rating ensures stable operation in unpredictable outdoor environments, immersing all spectators in a magical, dreamlike historical realm where they can engage in a transcendent dialogue with the thousand-year-old Su Dongpo and fully savor the splendor and poetry of the moment.
